Zoo Day!
Well, Charlotte's regular sitter had to cancel today due to a death in the family, so Charlotte and I had a ZOO DAY! Gorgeous weather. Couldn't have been better. She had a great time with her friends - LOVED the giraffes - couldn't stop laughing at them. Here are a couple of pictures of her on the playground and on the train. She said "choo-choo" a couple of times.
She's saying lots of words lately: baby, bird, duck, lizard, choochoo, dog, kitty, up, more, mama, dadda, cup, block, bear, ball, fish, coat, uh-oh, paci, Lucy, bubble, car, moo (for cow), woof woof (for dog), lion, lemon, nana (for banana) and nana (for her grandmom!), and Tucker (for her friend tucker). Oh, and we saw a blond haired woman at the zoo today and Charlotte ran toward her saying "Nana! Nana! Nana!" I don't know who was more confused - the woman or Charlotte.

Crack Baby and Pig Tails
It would seem that this baby o'mine has an extremely addictive personality. I think it has been fairly obvious from the pictures you've seen on this blog that she is addicted to her pacifiers. Man o man we have to put her to bed with like eight of them. It's insane.
But the pacifier addiction has turned out to be nothing...NOTHING....in comparison to her newest addition.....wait for it.....
BABY EINSTEIN -- specifically Baby Noah. She can't get enough...has to have it. She literally begs for it. And since she doesn't know the words for movie or for Baby Noah, she just brings us the remote controls (any she can find) and screams and cries "Mo Mo Mo" (as you'll remember from my most recent blog post, that would translate as "more more more"). We try to limit her TV time...I mean we really have never exposed her to TV aimed at her viewing pleasure until recently. And we only did this to try to make our car rides with her more endurable. Well, we created a monster. Here are a few pics of Charlotte fully engrossed in her show.
And on a different note- Charlotte wore pigtails for the first time today.
My goodness, she is cute.

Charlotte Updates!
Charlotte is just so cute these days. If only she would just sleep a little later in the morning.
She's learning new words every day...so far she can say: Mama, Dada, Lucy, Uh-Oh, Mo (meaning "more"), nana (meaning banana), up, and uh-uh (meaning "no").
In the morning she will whine and whine until one of us comes to get her. At these times she does not cry for me or Drew...but Lucy. A little insulting. If only Lucy loved Charlotte as much as Charlotte loves Lucy we would have an extremely blissful household. As it is, Lucy only appreciates Charlotte for her snackcup and the occasional dribbles of milk that fall out of her sippy cup spout or out of her drooly mouth. Charlotte would follow Lucy anywhere, but Lucy mainly spends her time running away from Charlotte.
Charlotte is also getting better at pointing out her body parts. She can do head, ear, nose (at which point she sticks her finger pretty far up her nose), toes, and belly button.
She would spend all day every day in some combination of being in her wagon or in the bathtub. Girl loses her mind when it is time to get out of the bathtub. I'd let her stay in there all day (with me sitting beside her of course), but unfortunately my daughter is a water pooper. That's right folks. She loves to poop in the tub. I'm going to have to start bathing her in a swim diaper or something.
Well, here's a few pictures of Charlotte for your enjoyment. Until next time.....

Halloween Carnival
We all went to a Halloween carnival at a friend's church on Sunday afternoon. The kids loved riding the little train around the parking lot, so we let them play in an empty train car that wasn't attached to the train when the ride was over since they all started screaming bloody murder when the ride ended.
Then Charlotte went trick or treating in her little red wagon - seeing friends, getting candy, AND riding in her wagon - it was pure heaven for Charlotte!

New Charlotte Pics - Professional and Otherwise
Charlotte had some pictures taken professionally related to her Birthday and Baptism. Forgive the watermarks - they've put them on there expressly so people won't do things like post the pictures to their blogs I'm sure, but whatever...I'm a rebel.
Also, here are a few pictures of Charlotte from our trip to Atlanta about a month or so ago. Charlotte and I went with our friends Tim and Karen and little Tucker to the Atlanta aquarium. She was about as into the experience as a one year old can be. She mainly wanted to be out of her stroller touching the glass, but we had to keep moving along because it was so crowded that day. We'd spend a few minutes with her in absolute bliss looking at one thing, and then she threw a tantrum until we got to the next location and she could get out of the stroller again. Here are the pictures!
